Prepared budget and designed a one-year, in-school program that included 186
students (K – GR5).

Represented proposal throughout review process, and successfully managed
financial plan.
- Established network with faculty members and students’
families for support, assessment and feedback.
- Attended community meetings to notify and update
neighbors on progress.
- Organized construction elements, including coordination with
manufacturer, architect, and public officials.
- Finalized design and arranged for delivery.

collaboration with Cristo Rey students.

- Began networking with faculty members and school families
for support, assessment and feedback.
- Organized community outreach and attended community
meetings to notify and update neighbors.
- Produced a calendar featuring preliminary designs for the
mural, as fundraising aid.
- Finalized design and coordinated with architects for
construction documents. Completion date: 2015.
1999 - 2000 The Savin Hill Mural Project
10 ft X 28 ft exterior mural, “Savin Hill 500 Years Ago,” Dorchester, Mass.
- Collaborated with young artists to create a
mural about the Massachusetts Indians.
- Directed students in historical research and
preparatory drawings before painting on the mural.
- Built a network, including establishing
committee to initiate community process and facilitate funding.
- Assisted in fundraising efforts and
represented project to local newspapers and media outlets.
- Consulted with architects for construction
documents; and supervised installation of the mural.
- Arranged interviews with over 100 community
residents for an oral history compilation.
- Produced a film based on the making of the
mural and the oral history archive.
- Organized a showing of the film at the John F.Kennedy Library; and on Boston Cable Network
- Acted as liaison to local businesses and the
City, State and Federal agencies involved in the project.
2008 Metropolitan Boston Transportation AuthorityFour murals on permanent display at MBTA Savin Hill Subway Station.
- (8) 48 inch X 48 inch
enamel panels; worked with MBTA staff to produce graphics.

1991 - 2004
Boston Parkland Artist
Originated an open air,
mobile art studio on Boston Common and the Public Garden.
- Licensed to display and sell artwork.
- Brought the studio outdoors every year from
May to October.
1994 – 2002 Pseudo Salon
- An open forum for the arts hosted at my Dorchester
studio.
- Quarterly shows featuring new work by local artists,
including painting, poetry, plays, film, dance and music.
1998 – 2002 Bloomsday on
Boston Common

An annual tribute to James Joyce presented as a dramatic reading of Ulysses in the middle of downtown
Boston.
